Refurbishment of the grade II listed building designed by architects Chamberlain Powell & Bon constructed during 1964-1976 as part of a larger campus development. The construction consisted of an in-situ concrete structural frame and Crittall metal framed glazed facade. 

 

The refurbishment works included the full interior fit-out to provide different academic study spaces and office accommodation. The existing windows where replaced with modern double glazed curtain walling system with full height side hung windows providing natural ventilation. The external concrete walls were thermally upgraded with an internal insulation and dry-lining system.
